Well it may be because VF hasn't gotten a new game in, like, 12 years.

They know very well that I'm a Tekken player. And because of that, they want me as well as other players from popular fighting games to stick with the game and give it some value. One of those VF officiates on twitter have been watching me.

I haven't been playing VF or any fighting game for several weeks because I'm into shooters recently after I lost interest in the genre for a long time.

I give props to the VF players that keep the game alive, but you can't blame people for moving on or losing interest in the series. SEGA hasn't exactly given the FGC much reason to maintain interest in VF. When did VF5FS release? Over 6 years ago? And that was just an update of VF5.

It's the same reason why I didn't blame people that lost interest in DOA5 and moved on. Game simply got old, though interest got revitalized with DOA6.

I could have thought that DOA players would keep their interest longer than VF players because DOA is a visually prettier game overall with flashier combat. VF5 is also 6 years older, so it seemed like VF players have been enduring for a longer time for another installment.

VF has players that have been playing the franchise for 15-20+ years. DOA only really picked up competitively with DOA5 since DOA4 turned off a lot of people and was the main DOA game for almost 7 years. Though on average, I'd say that since DOA5LR, VF's been more "dormant" than DOA was post 2016/2017.
