I dont think that's the case, I think it's done to tone down the damage that would result in a long stun threshold into a max launch height like DOA5 had. Plus you'll still have the possibly of hi counter throw in a stun threshold so I think it's a good change

Yeah it made sense when I thought about it lol. I imagine a lot of people will be going for stun launch setups now. However, characters have a lot of options for launching. Wonder will they do something about that.

Hopefully they will, characters like Phase 4 will probably be able to do insane damage without having to play the stun game if that's the case xD hopefully now they're still deciding on what they're gonna do since the stun game direction is a bit confusing now in 6

the game will reward you with damage for not trying to mix up your opponent during stun? seems kinda counter intuitive to the DOA we know and love, would much prefer it if they just made the stun threshold low ala DOA2 so stun filling would on CH would be much less prevalent. but this is an interesting idea, can't wait to get my hands on the game and try it out
