It sounds like you like getting hit by non-guaranteed moves, but since they reduced the stun, consider yourself lucky as well as everyone else that they did or else the RPS of +30 stuns might of killed you. They "had" to reduce the stun.
So DOA6 doesn't play like a DOA5 game without stagger escape, but I like getting hit by non-guaranteed moves in a game that already addressed the issue? This is DOA6 with no stagger escape and reduced stun. Why would I apply parts of DOA6's mechanics to DOA5?
Not exactly. In DOA5 the stagger system was used to reduce the amount of guesswork when placed in immense stun threshold, DOA6 at the moment does it for you which is good. Having a -small- bit of guesswork was important but not the entire system itself. Merely a question as to why you want it gone when it helped match ups greatly.
The thing here is that the system itself was a benefit which helped the competitive players greatly from escaping on situations that grants far too much damage on situations that isn't exactly earned in which they had to turn off their brains to obtain such damage. Reducing that stun (SE) gives the defender the option to punish in return if the follow up is a move with a slower startup + unsafe.
So regarding your post, I'm not sure if you want it removed because you don't like performing it (makes sense) or because you prefer players to turn off their brains? (that's a negative to the game somewhat). Overall on whatever the answer, even I hate performing it but that system "is" a positive benefit on the outcome. For DOA6 if they reduced stun for lack of SE then good. If not, then DOA becomes FGC memes again.
I don't like or hate SE nor do I "want" it gone. I'll play any fighting game with whatever mechanics it has because liking or hating the mechanics doesn't matter. Performing SE is just like everything else in FGs. You just have to learn it. In DOA6's case, wasn't it already confirmed by people that the stun was reduced and SE was gone? Why would your situation still apply or be a problem? Did I miss something?
I think you misinterpreted my post. It's more like "Can't wait to play a DOA game that plays differently from the previous one". As in it's new and I want to play it. Think of it like this "Can't wait to play a DOA game with break blows". I'm not saying power blows were bad, needs to be removed, or anything else. As for the FGC thing, I don't care about it. Nothing is going to change regardless.
Right but look, the way you worded your status placement is much different than what you -initially- wanted to explain. It's not how things work. By that logic you might as well just said "Can't wait to try the new system" without increasing the chances of making the status more silly than it looks via written text. It's like the portion of knowing when sarcasm is implemented or not via text with no hints of it.
If the topic goes "I can't wait till SE is gone", one could assume "Is this one of those very small minority questions of people wanting SE removed because they hate benefits that actually helped them? or is this a question of wanting it gone because they hate doing it?" but again, what you wrote within the comments is not exactly the same as the status. Context here.
We are talking about DOA6. Here is the context. We have already known DOA6 will not have stagger escape for a good while now, confirmed by multiple people. It is already set. Therefore, I "Can't wait to play a DOA game with no stagger escape". How is that silly or any different from what I wrote?
I don't care enough about your SE debate to take a side. If it's in then it's in if not then it's not. I don't know why I need to pick a side for things that are already set in stone.
Once again read your posts. The question towards you is regarding the status placement "Can't wait to play a DOA game with no SE". My question to you here was within the two placements that I provided and yet you responded with questions in return first hand up top. People already know SE is not in DOA6 which I mentioned that already. You made the status so I asked you a question. Sweet jesus you must be new here.
The point is, you worded the status completely different to what you initially wanted to write. Could of wrote "Can't wait to try out the new system of DOA, with the lack of SE I wonder how it would be? it's probably better!" chances are you'll likely have better positive feedback for it than a status that looks more like a player with a not-so great experience in DOA.
