What Team Ninja did was in terribly bad form, but on the other hand it was so damn blatant that it could be considered self-parody which is amusing in itself. The future for DOA6 will be interesting indeed.

My guess is that pre-order sales and projected interest in DOA6 was probably lower than anticipated, so in a last-ditch effort they tried to reign back in the sex-starved audience. Problem being that lowered interest in the game isn't solely a result of the "SJW-pandering" image that the anti-PC crowd has been advocating so incessantly.

Yep, this might've generated a bit of short-term attention, but it won't generate more sales. EVO is now pissed off and other esports events will be very wary.
