Eliot wasn't that great in earlier DOAs. It's the addition of the Bear stance which makes him overwhelming to play against.

He felt overwhelming to play as, as well. But I'll get used to it eventually lol

His execution is even higher now than in 5. if anyone had trouble consistently doing his relfoats they're going to be at a huge disadvantage now that his optimal combos require him to cancel in and out of bear stance through his various moves with his main move cancel being out of his refloat input...So yeah don't see many Genfu mains switching to him since Genfu was braindead easy compared to how Eliot is now
