Not sure about Ultimate but 5LR allows you to unlock those costumes by pressing all 4 bumpers. If TN is not evil they should do the same when ultimate really comes.

i dunno if i got glitched or something but there was no carryover for me when i switched, the paid dlc carried over but for some reason the non-dlc costumes didn't so i had to arcade mode grind my stuff back
