Momiji gave herself a bad name. I was so excited when she was announced for 5U. Then she dropped.

momiji's kinda fun to play but...... she's honestly not that interesting of a character personality or appearance-wise. what makes her so appealing?

Probably her stiff, recycled animations or terrible hitboxes.

To me personally, It was from her first appearance in dragon sword. I was immediately drawn to her design. Really loved the art in that game. You could also unlock a mode where you play as her for the full game, albeit a skin really. I just find the idea of a shrine maiden yet apprentice ninja to Ryu just cool. I expected her to be a one off character and never be seen again, but thankfully that wasn't the case.
