Yeah, was surprised how well it ran and how good it looked on my base PS4. There were some frame drops here and there but only a few and not even for a second. Games as of late (especially KT games) are demanding to the point where hardware that was created 1-2 years ago might not be enough+bad optimization. If you have the money, then going for PC over consoles these days is worth it.

I always wanted to say this but didn’t in fear of sounding stupid but I feel like super realistic, high poly, hd graphics are a meme and shouldn’t be the norm in gaming considering how expensive and time-consuming they are for the average dev

Yet they release games only months after their announcement and people are wondering why are the games having so many flaws/bugs. This market is starting to become over-saturated as well, so they want to release their game asap so that they can make money off of the people who really like the franchise while making it look as good as possible, or in other words "next gen" at the cost of performance ofc.

Then there are companies who don't give a damn about how good or how bad their game is and how its performing as long as the people who still play the game buy relatively overpriced dlc or microtransactions or lootboxes (looking at you Electronic Farts). I think its safe to say that we might be heading into the darker ages of gaming little by little.

Graphics aren't killing games. The insanity that is a $60 standard price tag, despite 15 years of inflation, is what's killing games.
