Yeah, it's the MK hype train pretty much. DOA6 killed its hype train as soon as Shimbori started answering interviewer's dumb questions, and KT killed the hype train by releasing DOA6 without lobbies. Though, on the otherhand, DOA6 really could use more helpful tutorials in comparison to other fighting games.

What is more helpful than the actual tutorial, command training and combo challenge to get ideas? That's 3 things.

I have always said that MK is a lot more rigid than most other fighters. It has always felt that way, animation wise, and execution. All NRS games feel that way. MK11 is footsies/spacing etc etc, poke in, and then you literally vomit out basically canned combos. There isn't a ton of room for creative flow or personality it's confirm into optimal. Whether that be corner carry or mid-screen double KB combos for 40+%

Because people don't like the RPS aspect and countering aspect of the game. Also there is fanservice in there somewhere.
