small roster all the way for me, being able to get initmate with an entire cast and learn all the MU's is great, with bigger rosters it's such a commitment to learn every thing with everyone that it's overwhelming

Medium roster for me. 25ish to 30 characters tops is the sweetspot for me. I hate it when games like Tekken have 40+ characters, compared to something like VF which only has, like, 20 characters. Bloated rosters are annoying and are hell for MU knowledge. Between the 2 options you chose? I'd prefer smaller rosters.

To me it doesn't matter how big the cast is as long as there is at least one character that I love. That's assuming all characters are designed well. For the sake of the community I prefer a smaller cast so new players can at least enjoy the game. Otherwise it's wat too difficult to get into.

Small roster with quality characters. Quality vs Quantity. When you expand the quantity, quality suffers.

I prefer a big roster because I’d get bored with a small roster ya know? Like I can’t do anything with something that small. With a big roster I’m always excited, I’m always satisfied.
