I have no hispanic or latino background. I'm West Indian mixed. I.e. A mongrel. And yes, a hispanic is simply someone from a Spanish speaking country, including Spain.

That's why I don't agree with it. By West Indian, you do in fact mean, that area. I remember I went to a West Indian parade. So, technically you do have a mix of taino, and/or African in your blood. Then again, a lot of us actually do because of the slave trade or it could be traces of the motherland. So, yeah, I'm Puerto Rican (Taino), Italian (Both of those have traces of African ancestry. Esp. more south of Italy,

My grandpa was from Naples. My great grandma was Native Borinquin (Taino a blanket term for those persons) and married a Greek guy who was pretty dark, like a bronze color, so, there's a potential for Persian/Iranian blood. Because of those two, there's a high chance of Spanish ancestry which in turn was ruld by Saudia Arabia for 100s of years. A few times the Arab store owners here thought I was Arab.

My cousin is Puerto Rican, Italian, Irish, Israeli and Chinese. My other cousins are Puerto Rican and Pnoy. Way more too. It's always PR and something because of my great grandma. She married 5 times. Her daughter had a lot of daughters, from 2 fathers. My grandpa, and another. My grandpa has a crazyy story, you'd think it was a movie.
