Realistically, Momiji isn't as cool as you'd think. I won't be biased about it, but she's more Eye-Candy than practical when it come to fighting.

That's what I thought as well. I just thought it's weird that I see alot of people wanting Momi back while no one played her.

Momiji was freaking everywhere in doa5u - doa5lr, granted there weren't a lot of Momiji mains but everyone and their grandmother had a pocket Momiji due to her being ez to pick up and having a very effective spacing game. she was everyone's favorite side chick, kinda like post patch Rachel

Competitive wise she was never around

As for her being gone, can't say I mind it too much, she didn't really appeal to me anyway, but I understand people wanting her back cause she was popular with casuals and hardcores. Unlike other dropped characters who only appeal to enthusiasts and no one else. But frankly I prefer if time and development went to new characters, tired of rehased old shit

there were alot of character who weren't seen competitively but were still popular, Jann lee, Momiji, Nyotengu, the list goes on, remember competitive doa counts for a VERY small portion of the fanbase, like with any other fighting game, the majority are just casuals who wanna press buttons with a character that appeals to them and no more

It's the Ein, Leon, Lei Wulong, Anna, Julia dilemma nobody uses them but take them out everyone demands for them so they can not play them again lol

Most people just want her in just because. I really want her back because she’s been a main of mine for years and it’s weird not having her in despite her popularity. Momiji was only common in tag, in solo she was rare because majority didn’t know how to use her.

She was one of my mains too! She was really rare but it seems like more people want her back than the people who actually liked playing her. But I guess I know the reasons now
