Yeah, but only online. So much BS in terms of the items (warp orbs and time clocks that knock everyone unlike the original). Thank God I finished my Nitro Gauge. Now I have to worry about Wumpa coins.
It's a good game, it's just hard as dried shit, and im not even talking about the online fuckery where you get dicked over by items galor, that's just kart racers being kart racers, im talking about offline adventure mode, why is medium the hardest thing ever? i haven't even touched hard mode cause im scurred!!!
Sonic team racing actually does the same thing, that games' medium difficulty is through the effing roof! is this just a thing for kart racers starring 90's mascots?
CTR's difficulty is hard but fair (though the bosses cheat, because that's what bosses do...), it forces you to learn how the game works, and learn it fast. When Aku Aku teaches you a new skill, you basically will have to get it down in the next race or two or you'll get your ass kicked. Hard mode is a riot LOL!
I remembered the original wasn't that difficult. But then came the remake, starts up Classic Adventure, AI goes way out of front during the race and if you manage to drive pass them, automatic missile or bomb! Bosses cheat (though I managed to beat Oxide on my second try with luck).
@Chisa I use Crash like a basic mf, and yes i know how to powerslide lol, it's just that the A.I feels like it's on some bullcrap, like some characters feel like they move alot faster than they should, could just be rubber banding or just my own personal suckage, who knows. plus i don't like to leave a course till i get first place, and the AI aint letting me have it lol
There's no rubber-banding in CTR (I hate rubberbanding so much), the AI just drives really well all the time forcing you to simply have to drive better. Never drive right behind someone or cut right in front of them or yes, automatic missile or bomb haha.
