I still remember in doa4 pre patch eliots 2h+k,p string could be blocked even when hit by the low making it worthless. Thank God itagaki realized how bs that was and fixed it. Those were some dark times
@Matt Ponton yeah, they did some characters dirty with the distribution of these new bounds, Bass can't even combo into his anymore, Honoka only gets hers off of 8k as long as they are below heavyweight, or she can go for 33k 9k which gimps dmg so hard there's no point going for it. more viable bounds 4 every1 plz
@U_C_A_F it's interesting that Eliot's original 2h+kp string worked like that, cause that's how most low to mid strings work in DOA, they don't really combo on NH, outside of a select few, (Bass 1pp, Mai 2kp are the only ones i can think of) and usually the reward off them is negligible, so i wonder why they made Elliot's a full blown launcher that combos, was he starved for launchers back in doa4?
