not to sound like an old man but back in my day you could throw a controller down the grand canyon and it'd still work, these days 3-6 months of "intense use" and you shit is broken, gotta go spend another 60 bux on a replacement, that's why i buy 3rd party and just replace parts personally, i'd go broke replacing controllers lol

Just had the same, killed an xbone pad in 2 weeks, bought a ps4 pad for mk11 and other controller games on pc, now the slightest touch derps the camera and character around. I think these are the new models, i have read that they are of worse quality but being marketed as more precise and good feeling lol

It's not an analog stick issue, more of a trigger button issue for me, I have a few racing games I truly enjoy, so the R2 gets fucked about 8 months of using the controller. I also managed to break the dpad at some point as well but I have no idea how I done it. The controller is great, they just need to make them more durable.

What in the world do you guys do to these controllers? I still have my launch ps4 controller and it works fine.

what are we doing to these controllers? nothing but having the audacity to play games on them lol, im on my 3rd first party ps4 controller, first one the d pad got stuck which was a huge deal at the time cause i was playing alot of games with essential d pad functions, 2nd one had drifting issues on left stick, which is a big no no, 3rd ones just fine, for now....

@Raansu Nothing. Hell, my PS4 controller feels like it's new, but could be cases of future faulty rather than wear. @Camel with 2 thumbs had similar experiences that I had which is actually pretty crazy.

I had a PS2 controller for 3 years, but never as short of a lifespan as the PS4 pads.

Broke my pad last week. I needed a break anyway. xD
