that is one of my concerns . i dont have a big collection of ps1 games but mostly dgital

This is the feature I feel they should get the most right. PS4 had too many years going for it and considering how the infrastructure of it is, unlike the PS3, could see it happening. 8K and a faster HD speed isn't selling consoles. People don't buy consoles at all for those purposes

As far as I know it's fully compatible with PS4 cuz it uses the same framework

@Hold_Junkie93 8K & a faster HD speed would sell more consoles than backwards compatibility comparatively, especially if promoted properly. Though, real talk, people buy consoles based on the games and the "wow" factor, along with a competitive price point. (Or because they're bored with their current consoles...)

@Force_of_Nature Tell any PC player that's been around from the beginning and they'll tell you the same thing. People buy consoles for the convenience of plug and play and price point. Wow factor as well. Like smarter AI and more Ray tracing could be fine. 1/2

Just the jump from Graphics on PS-PS4 was good enough to sell plus whatever exclusives. Unless VR gets so real you have to be physically fit to play some games, I don't see PS5 having that much pull imo You want performance, that's what PC is there for, no? 2/2

^ Yeah, consoles will always be more convenient to utilise than PC, along with being relatively cheaper to get into also, so the PS5 will sell if Sony doesn't fuck up the marketing (or price...).
