Iirc that goes, Robot is a machine that does have a humanoid figure but is all metallic. Also tends to not be too intelligent, usually has only one-function. An android is a humanoid looking machine that is more likely to be autonomous with synthetic parts made to look exactly like us and a cyborg is a human with mechanical upgrades. Confusion comes in at Robot vs android, not so much with cyborg.

@Brute, for 17 and 18, they are officially cyborgs, although the whole universe considered them as Androids as their names (while their human names are Lapis and Lazuli respectfully before Dr. Gero kidnapped and upgrade the twins). It basically screamed at the audience on how Krillin wifed 18 and had Marron.
