BBTAG 2.0, SC6 update, new GG, GBFVS, new UNIEST, T7,and SFVCE. Who would look at DOA6 and decide to buy it over everything else? And DOA6 still has unfixed issues. Does TN even care when the only people left playing the game are the usual DOA crowd that will stick with the game no matter what?

They already gave up on the game and backpedaled time and time again. They doubled down on it being a waifu dress up simulator since it failed both critically and commercially. At best we'll get a razor's edge "sorry we released a shit vanilla version" edition that won't gain any ground before the series is shelved just like NG after NG3 killed the series.

I think they're trying to gradually improve it via the updates since in the latest DLC pack the new patch that's coming is adding a new slow mo way to see when attacks that aren't directly held can be punished. They have a ways to go but hopefully it'll get better next year

if only it at least had value as a dress up simulator when it's just uncustomizable doa5 recycles yawn

@U_C_A_F It sure looks like they did. They still have not mentioned anything about fixing the most crucial issues and are focusing on more DLC costumes and copy paste characters. They're so lazy they can't even make new designs for 9 characters. Coming from 5, I hope they shelf the series until they start caring again. I really hope DOA6 and its flop sent them that message.

@Macca Beam YES. Since they are just literally reselling the same DLC they should have just included it in the base game and used it as a selling point. DOA doesn't really have anything else to offer.

@KasumiLover I saw that but that's not much when there are still so many other issues in the game. Every other game is moving along and DOA still has done nothing significant.

At this point I'm just playing the "wait for DOA6U" game like mostly everyone else is. If by summer (I'm giving them a little bit over 12 months post-release) we hear no word of a big update and the game is still mostly the same quality-wise, it's a lost cause.

It's already concerning how little actual NEW content we've gotten in 6, DLC or not, but I like the gameplay and new moves enough to put up with their BS thus far. I will say that DOA6 does feel like a whole ass flop compared to not only other fighters this gen, but the rest of the DOA series itself sooo TN needs to focus on getting new people in as well as regaining the trust of those who left.

The lack of new content was my biggest issue and made me drop DOA6 completely. The copy paste of Rig, Mila, and Nyo from 5 should have been a huge warning. No one will even care or want to get into DOA. That ship sailed long ago. I cannot imagine anyone even caring about DOA in general when DOA6 and TN are like this. If even the people who like DOA don't like the current DOA then there is no way new people will care.

I'm waiting until the next DOA6 has as much content and polish as DOA5LR did right at the end of its life. TN isn't trustworthy at all and I'm not going to be scammed again just because I like DOA. There are many more polished and interesting games out there to play and skipping out on DOA6 isn't a big loss.
