More like people who do didn't have any preconceptions and standards for the series since they're new and more innocent to FGs in general . People who are magically better now, did they really improve as a player? Or the game adjusted to them? Look @Emann on twitter
I don't really agree with that tbh, I don't feel like a new player who likes doa6 is wrong, I think at this point if someone prefers 5 than they can play that like I see a couple of players do. But most doa players I follow on twitter complain about doa6 either way xD
The game doesn't suck. It sucks compared to 5. But compared to the average FG, it's actually pretty damn solid.
My favorite thing about DOA6 thus far is how many people its exposed to hold scrub logic (ie: "It's the game's fault I'm not winning, not mine.") It's quite a treat.
Good players like 5, bad players like 6; bad players like 6 because TN gave them the Scrub Meter. If TN would remove all the meter mechanics those who like 6 would stop liking it.
I don't think so tbh. I think players just don't like doa6 mostly because it's easier to counter and stop their pressure, but you literally have the same exact tools of your opponent in that regard so idk why people are quick to knock 6 when they're not as successful with it.
@Brute In SFV's case, I agree. Let's be honest, DoA's not the hardest game. Why make it more accessible? Who was playing the game seriously beyond this community here?
@KasumiLover , that's the thing. Yomi resolves more on the mechanics rather than more on player wit. Trust me, I doubt people are struggling at all. That's the thing, everyone is good, so, no ones really, "bad" because it's become harder to distinguish who is bad. What's playing good beyond understand habits and the triangle? Definitely ain't combos or setups. Everyone knows all the bs.
Am I saying I wanted new things to learn? Not precisely, but take away the things we have learnt and tell us, oh, it's not needed anymore. We made the test easier. They've done this with Pilot tests and We've had people that simply shouldn't be flying planes. DoA5 wasn't that broke, why fix it?
