The first time Shiden is ever brought up is in a strategy guide for DOA1. If they had some real mystery or intrigue with the character he might be interesting, or in the future he could possibly fill a plot hole; but Team NINJA has already fucked the previous Itagaki narrative which was far better than what's become of the story so I'm not sure I care what they do with Shiden or if he's ever brought up again.
