Free Step Dodge

The anticipation before DOA5U and DOA5LR and the time of their releases and many months, if not years, afterwards were the best times on this forum. I have very fond memories of them.

The guy who made that thread... had a Wolf's Rain avatar O_O I actually think I've used that pic as an avatar myself many years ago. Man, looking at old threads in general is sad, so many cool missing faces. Some I recognize from DOAW too. We need them to fight now. All hands on deck.

DOA5/U/LR were cool, and yeah FSD was more active then (fuck Discord...), though overall, I didn't really think DOA5 really made all that much of an impact in the FGC. There was still a relative disinterest from most people in the FGC in wanting to play the game series compared to others. However, DOA5LR looks plain godlike compared to DOA6 now...

I remember that thread back from vanilla. You missed out. So many familiar names. In terms of peak, I may have to give it to DOA5U as the pinnacle to every entry way possible due to core fighters but I did had a blast from vanilla. The spike from 5U felt more real than DOA6.

GodHades just completely vanished around mid DOA5U, hope he's doing alright. David Gregg completely vanished too and the last time I seen him was in the SC threads.
