I don't think so tbh, the only people I can see moving to 5LR are those who prefer 6 with no meter and the LR meta since it favors their mains better, I rather stick with the latest meta since its fresher and more refined but I don't mind going in LR to Naotora every now and then tech wise xD

I'm low-key teching in LR since I feel like her tools would be great in 6U, with how the ground game is and such, I feel like Naotora could be one of the best fighters in 6U ground wise since she has so many launch ops to go for constant advantage and pressure,

I mean hey, if you are part of the FGC, you are a part of every game within that series. People till this day still play 3rd Strike and had more entries than SFV did at Tougeki a few years back. It's really just getting people to do it and then they can go back to DOA6.

People should go back to it as being part of the FGC, rather than going back to it because people assume it's a trend.

Either choice is fine with me. I had a lot of good times with DOA5LR in my scene for instance relatively compared to DOA6. I'll continue supporting DOA in some manner basically.

People can host both at events, double the DOA action. People did KOFXIII and KOFXIV for DreamCancel events and online tournaments awhile back.

Thinking about it. Would be epic if DOA could ever get to a point of hosting its own events. DOA2U, DOA3.1, DOA4, DOA5LR and DOA6 tournies all happening at one event! A dude can dream...
