the delays stem people not being able to work on it due to the pandemic and they definitely plan on releasing as soon as humanly possible

Despite TLOU2 and IRL being based around a pandemic, it's a bit of a stretch to say that TLOU2's world is similar to what's going on IRL. TLOU2 is very extreme and dystopian with its subject matter. However, I agree with Naughty Dog's decision to delay the game. Logistics must be a nightmare right now. Lots of games will potentially get delayed this year.
