For me the game has a level of depth of its own, EVO Japan of this year proved it with the character variety in top 8, each and every team could have some diversity in combos and also the meta of the game changed sooo much in just one year: Jin being part of every team due to resonance lvl 4 Touga, team Gorby, Mitsu+Yuzu, now a lot of teams are running UNIST characters due to the long assists they have.

I'd say that match-ups would count too depending on who you play but the game really prefers rushdown, aggresive type of characters with aggresive players playing them, which is what many people play, still, a Tager+Waldstein will handle a for example Ragna+Naoto K. match-up differently than a Nu+Hilda match-up.

I use Linne and Chie. Any tips?
