these are the thoughts that cross my mind as I read pages upon pages of complaints regarding the GG Strive beta, 90% of them being chalked up to "it wasn't like that in the previous games" meanwhile, I had fun with the beta, and i'll probably get it on release, boom bam bing

that said, lobbies did suck and the combo counter did take up WAY too much space, i'll give 'em that lol

lol. well, while strive is what got me thinking about it, there's been alot franchises like this for me lately, Resident Evil, Pokemon, Fire Emblem to name a few

If I wanted to play the classic game franchises, I still have em and I ll play em. If I wanna play strive, I ll play strive! I will make a note on the differences but that doesn't mean I ll enjoy em. GG has come a long way especially on the music, story, and visual department. I was laughing my head off when I discovered Sol was actually a Dadguy. XD

I'm a fan of lots of old franchises and even then I don't give a fuck about the whole "ITZ NOT THE ZAME ANYMOA" mentality. Like no shit lmao, things evolve! I just enjoy them for what they are, and if I don't like it, then it's ok. I didn't like KH3 as much as the old ones but I didn't go on forums crying about how they "RUINED THE FRANCHISE TM"
