Im not even a modern VF player and even I'm annoyed by all these "fans" who popped out the woodwork saying "ah man, I've always been down for virtua fighter!" and im like "mf I ain't never heard you mention the words "virtua" and "fighter" in unison since 2007, quit lying!"

They could make it to where if you have a VFDC account. You get early access for the first couple weeks of the game. That way Mainmain, MaxDood, KingJay and every other random who dick rides VF so hard can't take away from the actual VF content creators that will be making shit on the game.

I always looked at the FGC as an attempt to fuse all the fighting game communities together so we can all pretend that we fuck with each one. Brian. F plays fighting games. Fighting games is plural. He only plays Street fighter. Why does playing one fighting game = games? Only time he plays anything else is just to check it out then leaves it forever back to Street fighter.

Why not just say I play Street fighter? I like Street fighter? Ryan Hart, J.Wong, and Daigo just to name a few can say fighting games, but damn everyone says it. This is why if you asked Mainman who only plays Tekken or Brian.F Street fighter. Yes I play VF because I play fighting games FGC logic

Now imagine if Japanese players had that same energy about outsiders in general just 'cause you never lived in Japan where the community thrived the most for years. The VF community would surely be its own worst enemy with this gatekeeping mentality.

I'm pretty sure nobody cares if you're an outsider. It's pretending to be something you're not. Nothing wrong saying you're interested in VF I want to try it out or I use to play it as a kid but didn't do much with it, and I'm down for playing it.

Me and I'm pretty sure Camel is saying the same thing. As he said he isn't a Modern VF player but he most likely would try and play a VF6 without the attitude of faking and pretending VF is the best thing ever. ( I BEEN WAITING ALL MY LIFE FOR THIS). So no I would love for more people to join anything and stay awhile.

and as for the VFDC comment. Dude it's a joke because of the VF rep thing lol.

like if ppl are hype for new vf that's fine, Im just annoyed with the ones acting like they've been waiting 12 years for this shit when there's ACTUALLY been a whole community puttin' in work keeping the dream alive since 2007

VFs an equal opportunity game but don't expect to make big bucks, or clout streaming if you aren't intuned with any technical aspects. I came in and found tech/play style that was different that even the top Eileen admitted, he didn't know could be useful. A lot of a small groups have played for a long time. Not looking for anyone to join. Has to be your decision. No one needs hype, just a recurring playerbase.

One that goes, "Hey, someone can have the same passion for VF as us." Cruz and them treated me like fam, and I enjoyed my time w/ them, even met old SF, KoF dudes. I upped my 2D skill w/ them. I didn't noticed. I just played and results showed. Got to play 5R .VF3 sent by Sega bc they recognized community efforts. Made a couple Top 8s, The owner of VFDC. A chinese grandma that made Pai cookies!

I'll gladly challenge anyone here on PSN to some FS matches. If ya'll interested.
