Just can't help but shake the feeling that more people would at least be trying a game like DOA6 out if there was more positive exposure/word-of-mouth about it.
That and just the fact that people say it's a dead game can ruin the temptation for new players, but idk since there's people who complain about the game that I still see play it which I find odd xD
Exactly. Some people don't realize that the way how they come off just makes things worse for the franchise regardless if they play it or not. If you play the game then bitch about it, what will your viewers think? What will any onlookers think?
Personally stopped playing, left it on a 79 winstreak in ranked, and never looked back. Still haven't touched it competitively since and will keep it that way.
If someone where to ask me about DOA6, I'll tell them to try it and find out for themselves at this point because they may actually like it so the door is open, but it most certainly will not be on my mind if it doesn't get brought up.
But I will say this though, if you are complaining about the game but still play it, for pete's sake move on and let the community play the game.
Don't like it? move on. I already did, so the people who are complaining while playing it reading this: get your shit together, grow up, and move on and let them play it if they like it. The options for other FGs are limitless or wait for the next game.
As someone who needlessly tortured himself trying to play Tekken 7 in a futile effort to fit in somehow with the cool kids, I can't concur enough how valuable the post above me is.
tbh i just stopped playing it cuz me and my friends weren't having fun with it anymore. We dont really like the direction they went with doa6 at all. I don't like that bound and close hit combos are the only combos, its just boring and not really creative at all. Also, no tag matches.
