yeah the 2 biggest drawbacks for me is the 512GB SSD and no disc drive I assume these are why the Series S is so dirt cheap but man you kinda have to grab that £200 external memcard or buy an external HDD to get more than 10 games on it at a time. or 1 if you're a COD player lol

I love my series S. I don't mind the lack of disk drive, but 1TB out the box should have been the standard. I can't have more than 4-5 games downloaded at once. I hear external SSD's are a great option though for quick file transfers. IMO even their dedicated 1TB SSD is not enough.

SSD memory equivalent to what the XseX or the PS5 have is mad expensive. $220 would be pretty standard for what's being offered. It's more impressive that MS was able to get the price of a next-gen console down to $299. The PS5 currently doesn't have a memory expansion equivalent. Having external HDD's on hand are helpful to alleviate the memory issue.
