I do genuinely enjoy the experimental genre blending approach, but the myriad of technical issues and some mind boggling design choices routinely get in the way of the fun, although both of those get mitigated the longer you play. if you can forgive the early game weirdness and are in the mood for some old school janky fun, give it a go, if not, pass

I noticed the reviews for it on Xbox's store are generally positive... weird. I mean, Xbox's store reviews are usually ridiculously negative for the stupidest reasons, especially when it comes to oldschool or niche stuff, lol. When people say it plays like a 2000s game, seems they tend to mean that in a good way... well, I like to play new games that look like they were made in the 80s or 90s, so why not?
