From the little I've heard and saw about Crossworlds it might be All-Stars Racing type of fun, if it'll be just as good in terms of gameplay then I'll be very tempted to get it asap.
Come to think of it, the Tekken team bringing back Heihachi from the dead (for the 3rd, 4th time?) isn't that shocking given that they brought back plenty of characters whose deaths got retconned from Tekken 2-3 for Tekken 5, since T4 didn't do so well so they ended up going back to the roots by making gameplay be more similar to T3 and bringing back a good amount of old characters.
Ya know, with KT getting more employee's there's a small hope in me that they might announce and make a third game for the IP that in this year is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Unlikely but if there's a time for it to happen, then that time is now.
Ok, so for the Sigma games, Sigma comes BEFORE the number, and for the Black games, the Black comes AFTER the number... right? Anyone else keep getting this shit wrong? XD
I already memorized which type of pie each persona of Lisa prefers, I need to get this right too.
There are some people already disappointed that 2 Black doesn't have as many opponents/enemies to fight as the OG game or they aren't as aggresive, to which my answer would be something like "This is a UE5 game, there's only so much it would be able to handle before framerate's gonna go and shit itself". From what I've seen so far they tried to find the middle ground with 2 Black and imo they seem to have succeeded.
Holy, 80 euros for DW: Origins on Steam? I'ma be real, I'm still surprised that with the prices going up for everything video games seemed to stay "relatively" cheap in comparison and even this price is "somewhat cheap" compared to the prices that newly released games could have these days but, iirc KT is the first one to do this just for the base game and its like, after the negative reception of DW9?
Alongside R.E.V.O, 5US is going to receive a 2.0 update. The rollback update seems to be quite likely alongside the balance patch but we'll have to wait and see if it'll receive everything that R.E.V.O is getting.
If Wuthering Waves gets themes/osts like this one then the game shall (almost) achieve its full potential, outbeating Genshin in every category possible, maybe with the exception of story.
So Rebirth of Souls did end up becoming an arena fighter. Not surprised and just a little bit disappointed but at the same time I have no issues with arena fighters and it has been more than 10 years since Bleach saw a non-gacha console/PC game so I'm down.
After months of getting (mostly) mediocre games for free for the basic subscription on Playstation, Streets of Rage 4 is going to be one of the free games this month, definitely worth picking it up.
Well, I hope that prices regarding games and microtransactions won't get expensive at least for a little while!
Riot comes in with League and making a good HoF Faker skin for Ahri for 250$ and double the amount for his signature alongside it probably saying something like:
"WELCOME BACK TO THE STAGE OF HISTORY"
Even though I don't like a decent amount of practices that Nintendo has when it comes to the content creators and consumers of their games, there's one thing that I have to give them credit for, sticking with the Switch and not upgrading it for years was probably the best move they ever did since the creation of the NES.
So what is most people's opinion on the last day of a specific game's tournament being top 6 instead of top 8? I understand that it was made this way in order to keep things running smoothly/so that they don't go overtime but personally this just makes me not want to watch the matches at all and since I don't really care much about pools/top 32 I don't think that I'll be watching too many tourney matches from now on.
While I dislike the idea for fully priced videogames/fighting games having battle passes and in-game currency that you can't obtain for free, the amount of money and time it takes to make videogames now (goes double for good ones) makes them a good way to keep supporting the game further with content while also getting support from people who want these items and/or really like the game.
Looking back at it now, it isn't really surprising that Blazblue Dark War was abandoned/discontinued early on. With the relatively big delay from early release announcement, gameplay that ultimately didn't offer THAT many new things in the market at the time, not being tied to an IP like Dragonball that would do the hard carrying and it only releasing in Japan it seemed like it was doomed to fail sooner than later.
It would be nice to see a DOA Master/Fighters collection from TN with 2U, 3 and 4 in it before a new NG and DOA and relatively soon after they're done with Rise of the Ronin.
Look, I'm not saying that Shimbori called all or even most of the shots when it comes to the development of Tekken 8 from a gameplay perspective but the fact that Xiaoyu is basically Helena now is a bit sus.
Project L's name is now 2XKO, which I guess isn't bad but it only looks good on paper, 2 times KO doesn't sound like a good fighting game title tbh. Game seems to have gotten a decent amount of polish and it is going to be getting it further since its coming out next year. From what the few people said who managed to try it out this game might be something that I might want to at the very least check out.
