Now it feels like a game made by Japanese whose target audience is only Japanese more than ever now. Those who want to play it now have to circumvent a fourth region-lock.
Western fans have been treated like an exception since DOAX3.
All I aspire regarding this series is to be pleasantly surprised again with what I see (for a change).
These two had conflicting views, envisioning DOA a different way once in charge of it (both had worked on this IP for nearly two decades).
One left and the other one is now free to handle most of what's left of this series. I feel concerned.
I honestly don't care if there's too many hurdles to play Prism because nothing about it so far makes it a must-play for me. We don't even know what the "gameplay" will be like, however much of it there is. I only got into VV cuz it's free, on steam, they added Tina, and I only needed to use VPN once.
I mean fine, just make DOA7 for the west then. Two different audiences happy. Profit.
