Honestly predicted this. Literally no other studio that can do it. I know people want the whole "oh but wish it was in-house" type of thing, but if they had to co develop it with Platinum Games means they don't know what to do with it in-house either.

Yasuda is overseeing it completely so it should be in good hands I think, if the game ends up shit even with Yasuda then the problem is more than Platinum Games.

Well they're saying it's "developed by Team Ninja & Platinum Games" and calling it a "collaboration", so I'd be surprised if Team Ninja's part in it is literally just Yasuda. After having so much success with Nioh I'm actually surprised they felt they had to bring in Platinum at all, but all that aside it is LOOKIN good at least.

I think the gameplay speaks for itself.

i'll be frank, on one hand, I don't mind Ninja Gaiden being handled by another studio, because in house development from a team that has no passion or love for the property is how end up with games like DOA6, so they if don't know what to do with it, let someone else handle it
