I know, but the way she got fed up with Donovan's shit in those conference calls and didn't buy Rig's shit for a second made her kinda relocatable and sympathetic for the first time in the series, whereas in past games she was just a conceited bitch and that was the end of it.
Lolol. I'm curious if she'll really turn against him or still continue the charade of being his right-hand bitch. I can see her and Lisa (if she's still alive) already on the verge of quitting. Leaving Donovan with only Rig and............ -shudders- ..... Miyako.
Oh right, her too. Then again, we don't know if she'd have the same personality as Kasumi Alpha who pretty much considered Donovan as her "father" and the real Kasumi as her "sister". Kasumi has one fucked-up family tree.
Curious if Marie would be a tournament character or will she have more interactions on the serious side of the story?
Old Hitomi? =S Hitomi hasn't really changed apart from the fact she's now friends with a female member of the cast as opposed to just Ein ( and Tina... I remember there was a cutscene with her and Tina in DOA3.... god knows if the're still friends. ) and Old Momiji.... what? =S Momiji is the same she's always been. Mature & looking to improve herself. She's still the same in DOA as she has been in every NG.
Old Hitomi in DOA3 had her crush on Ein, but otherwise was actually a pretty ambitious and resolute fighter. In DOA4 she was a complete joke and a headache. In DOA5, she's sort of a mixture between the two.
Momiji in DOA5 mature? I wouldn't say that at all. The main change in her I notice is that in DOA she's more oodie-woodie, whereas in NG she tends to be quite direct.
I can see where you're coming from in regards to Hitomi in some ways. But not so much Momiji. She doesn't have anything in DOA, and since she hasn't made a proper appearance in the story all we have is her win quotes. Which are just statements of how she's getting stronger, and thanks for the fight. Her opening, very typical of a girl like Momiji. Bow, showing respect etc. she seems fine.
Tina still maintains her unknown friendship with Hitomi in the spinoffs as she is one of the few girls that Tina likes apart from Lisa and Kokoro (I question why she likes her there despite no canon interaction together).
What I liked about Old Hitomi was she's more of a focused fighter than fangirling over Ein like a lovesick leech.
Which is odd considering the whole point of her entering the DOA3 tournament was to find Ein. I think the only time she hasn't entered for Ein was DOA5... in which she almost won. DOA4 Hitomi was a little weird, but DOA5 Hitomi seems fine. Even her tag intro with Ayane is "Are you here to train too?" her whole thing in DOA5 is about training... =S or at least that's the impression I got.
Her being serious about training raises a question though. She's just like Leifang/Mila in a sense. You could call it training as an excuse to see the guy they're eyeing on.
Once you get used to Ayane everyone else seems boring in comparison, though I do enjoy using Kasumi, Christie and Mila and wouldn't mind trying Hayabusa.
She's always been one of my Main Trinity since DOA2 (Hayabusa, Leon and Ayane), but I dropped her a bit after 5 vanilla was released for several reasons (not enough Izuna). I've considered picking her back up, but there are so many Ayanes around (not a valid reason, I know; but still), and right now I think I really need to focus on refining my Hayabusa.
Sticking with 1 character is a solid policy. Ayane does require dedication so there's usually a huge difference between someone who uses Ayane well and someone that is throwing bullshit out with her online.
Exactly. And the last thing I want to do is be a Scrubyane. I've seen too many Scrubbybusas. I know what devastating horror that is. I couldn't do that to the true Ayane players. Disrespectful.
Fair enough, I SMH at the Busa's online that just mash H+KKK. The funny thing is that, that's a negative GB I think, so I don't even care if I block it.
