It's not who TN cares about that makes a character high tier. For example, I don't get the impression they really give a flying fuck about Gen Fu at all, yet he's top of the food chain.

I don't mean high tier. That might be a little much. I just mean, TN would actually be willing to buff her if need be. TN wouldn't even release the character if they didn't think people would be hyped for it. By even bringing her into the game that gives the possibility of a decent Tengu. Either through patches or new games. They'd at least try to make her work with the new tools.

She would get a massive buff if they gave her a doge outfit.

TN doesn't buff characters who need buffs.

But I can't see Nyo Tengu being any worse. Which is why I kinda have hope for her. Itagaki was never gonna allow Tengu to be good. This one has a small chance. I think that's most important for the actual Tengu fans. Tits by themselves don't make a character good, I know.

If they keep her at all close to the original Tengu than yes, she would be far worse.

We'll have to see her full move set. Leon seems much better this time around. I guess it depends on what properties her moves actually get.

The best revealing idea is another stage similar to home. Like a bar or an office....or maybe even a supermarket.

She'll be pretty scary on Home. She has Tengu's 2T. Bait a low hold and they're dead.

DOA2U all over again. 2P 2P 2P 2T....2P 2T. Rinse, repeat.

2U was 8K, 3P, 7KP, 4P+KP, rinse and repeat.

That combo looks like it takes thought. My "combo" on DOATEC germany stage is much easier. At least for my scrubby self.

Lol. Tengu's 8K didn't take thought at all. It was an i12 NH launcher that did 30 damage on NH, crushed highs and launched high enough to juggle with 3P, 7KP for good damage, putting full screen distance between you so you could then space with 4P+KP.
