True. He's no Bayman. But he's also no Kasumi, Ayane, Momiji, Zack, Akira, Pai, Jacky, Sarah, Phase 4... etc. There are a lot of characters faster than him.
Yeah, but you can only spam so many Ninpo Headbutts or Ninpo OH's before your bored. Ayane & Ryu are both very tough to use. Momiji & Hayate though -_-.
Online Momiji is very easy to use. You can't punish or counter her amazing lows for shit. She's still easy to use in general. You just need to get past the regular 6PKK shit.
Do the DoA and NG universes ever cross in game story-wise? I know Ayane and Momiji appear in NG and that some of the DoA stages are from NG games such as Sky City and Desert Ruins.
They never do cross oddly enough. All DOA's take place after all 6 NG's (Soon to be 7 NG's) because in all of Ryu's bio's, he has already settled down with Irene and owns an antique shop.
Hayabusa is a slow ass character and not many people realize why. So, time to educate. Ryu’s 10/13/14 is by no means impressive, but it’s also not terrible. But one needs to also factor in what his options are from these. They have no mixup at all beyond the generic tick throws, so if you get these pokes blocked (and face it, when we’re talking about these speeds,
we’re referring to the neutral game where we’re using pokes and they can get blocked), you’re in trouble. Bayman may be 11/13/16, but seriously, let’s look at this.
Unless you’re up against and i11 midder, the 11 frame jab functions about the same as a 10 frame jab in most other match-ups. Not like scoring Hayabusa’s P on CH against an 11 frame midder in these situations is giving you any great options,
And it seems like so many people love the quickest characters >_>
