Set the timer to infinite on versus and if you have a second controller use it and just stand there with the opponent. Try these (wavedashing, if I know what it actually is, is very difficult for me at least) and then KO the opponent. Upload to youtube, go to the video editor and clip out what you don't want.
I'm on a tablet and it doesn't look like I can edit anything I upload using it, but I did record and uploaded on youtube 2 videos of me trying to kbd. I'll upload em in here shortly
It depends. It's completely optional. Certain tournament players don't even use it either. It is good for the heavies and certain characters that have terrible extended recovery from a backdash.
@Chapstick both my demos of me doing the KBD are on the social media. @DestructionBomb even though Momiji has her 7p to get out when needed, does she really need to kbd?
Momiji doesn't really need it. Her's is good as well. The thing with KBD is the concept of use for it. For example, it's mostly intended for mid screen - zoning concept and developing opening for whiff punishment while baiting them to hit a button. Now here's the thing when I mean it really depends:
Certain characters lack certain range and not very strong in a range department, which leads to the case that certain characters are not really important for KBD, most of it is to cover some space, but there are those that have powerful range and can still catch within momentary hitbox situations.
You can watch tournament vids and there are certain ones (Particular one from Winter Brawl) where the player got bopped for KBD too much. Character-wise, it really depends.
Korean back dash is good for baiting wiff punishes
Fuzzy guard can be simple as 2H then return to standing block, but some situations require 33H. Fuzzy guarding is just ducking highs/throws while blocking mids
pretty sure wave dashing is exclusive to super smash brothers: melee.
I got a stick and like tekken you cant the same notation 1544 or 144, wave dashing is the same thing 653 or 636363. Destruction bomb was only using kbacdash at the beginning btw not to force a whiff punishment, but better combos none the less.
