I'm trying to ask why do offline players deserve so much respect, all I hear is offline this, offline that, offline tactics, What is it that makes offline so praiseworthy? I feel as if offline players do not deserve that much praise. They should be treated the same as an online player. And trust me, they are treated a whole lot better and it saddens me.
and what would that accomplish? will this be a case of who ever loses complains about lag? or would people say online matters because i challenged you in a petty attempt to prove you wrong?
Now here's where it backfires for you iMainJean, you need to provide information as to why do you deem yourself like that. From online? Certainly not. How exactly are you going to prove someone wrong? By just saying it ain't true? It's not true on Xbox but it's definitely true on the netplay of Playstation. Enlighten me with your Jackies fools. Relish in unholy retribution to what I have in store for you.
Offline players get respect because they actually make an effort to support the game and competitive scene as opposed to staying home playing laggy online matches and whining on forums. Nothing that happens in online matches is ever legitimate and does not reflect offline play in the least.
Lol hell no. top 8 doesn't matter, actually trying and showing up is what matters compared to the people who just think that offline events are for the neckbeards.
And Mr. Nature, what is online that isn't the same as offline other than delay, lag, disconnection, lobbies and mics? Is there new features offline? Maybe there's a new type of CB? Please enlighten me.
Personally I feel the Shiden players in NA PSN are the worst. He was already quite rare but now it seems everyone dropped him and I'm the only one who plays him.
Yo we going off topic here. I wasn't finished! I wanted to say that the character Jean is coming to DOA6.......Whoops! mistake! better change that name from iMainJean to "iMissJean."
Anyways, I'm done with this post. It's like being on discovery channel as the cheetah who happens to lay pitholes to capture Jacky for the Jacket fur and sell that shit for a hefty price. About to hop on Hajin's stream for a bit.
Offline play is actually legitimate. Nothing that occurs online is ever legitimate. Until you play a session offline, you will never understand or appreciate the difference. This is a fact.
In the past I used to play online almost all the time (not even playing against AI) until I had an offline session. I was surprised by how I could hold things offline I could never hold online (perfect example second punch of Kasumi's 1PP when 1P landed as a CH) and how easily I dropped combos offline due to all my online timings.
Then I began to appreciate how amazing offline is and realized that online doesn't mean a single thing --> everything is situational and just a frame of lag could be the difference between a Hi-Counter Hold or no hold, eventually influencing the entire outcome of the match.
