Online honestly killed the game for me too, I wanna play but only events ever happen in London and far too few apart and I'm broke can't afford the trainfare/hotel .
Otherwise id still be playing DOA instead of Atelier lol
Yeah, online's a bitch in FG's. Not having any offline scene at all can be tough. If you're able to contribute any sort of tech, that would be greatly appreciated.
I understand your pain man, the scene over here in South America is almost nonexistent, if i anything i'm responsible for most of the DOA acitvity here, stick with it man, that's the only advice i can really give you, its been 14 years for me and i've still been able to hold down the fort until now.
I'll still share my knowledge of the game on here. I'm just kinda unmotivated to play the game because my offline scene is ruined. It's a damn shame really.
Also thanks for the words of encouragement everyone.
Well, the Dutch offline scene is very small to begin with (~ 5 players). That being said, I have personal issues with Gehaktbal, the main host of our offline sessions. Also I think Pictured Mind kind of quit DOA as I haven't seen him on here for ages, but don't quote me on that.
Well I don't want to start drama on FSD but long story short: We used to be friends, then something happened in between and now we can't be friends anymore.
Yes it's a shame. Anyway my sister still plays DOA so I have at least someone to play offline with. Now that I think about it we should play against each other more often. She plays Marie Rose and I find Marie Rose a pain to deal with. And we teach each other a lot of cool stuff with Jacky. She's getting the hang of his FSK!
