Whoa ik I'm not going to say much until I see her moveset but judging by the SW gameplay she's fast and does a lot of kicking and I main Rig so I might check her out haha

I wish they used a more unique character. I can understand people's disappointment. I hope her moveset will appease it. Anyway, I think Tecmo asked for it, rather than TN itself. I can see this as an experiment. If it sells, DOA could showcase other Tecmo games (Ni-Oh, Yaiba, Samurai, etc.)

As much as I complain myself about our lack of maturity in this community, I have to admit some complaints right now are totally legitimate. Most people (me included) are not pissed or devastated, they (and I) are just bored by TN's lack of creativity and ambition. Advertizing SW isn't very exciting.

It's not a "lack of creativity" it's called business. What motivation does Koei-Tecmo have to be "creative" if being "un-creative" makes them more money? Look at Honoka's & Marie Rose's popularity compared to Raidou.

You're opposing creativity and business like good and evil. Creativity also stimulates people's interests. The "lack of creativity" refered to the type of character they choosed. The "lack of ambition" refered to the series chosen to be promoted. Uniqueness is important. She doesn't bring anything new for the moment (waiting for her moveset now). I never asked for Raidou myself hehe.

Honoka's & Marie Rose's popularity makes KT a lot of money. Creativity takes more effort and won't necessarily make as much money. Mila & Rig are unique, but their popularity pales in comparison to Honoka's or Marie Rose's. Again, KT has little motivation to be "creative" with DOA5LR. They're just milking the series at this point.

I know that, most people know that too. Doesn't mean fans don't have the rights to tell TN to try harder. I still believe creativity can pay too. Just a little bit more at least.

You have to give TN a reason to "try harder". I.e. not buy all the shit they throw at you, forcing them to try harder. That's how it works.

Nobody was flipping out. All I saw were misunderstandings. To those I may have offended in the whole "new character" cycle bit though, my apologies just in case.

I see a wall of text filled with 'fucking this fucking that fucking fuck!' as flipping out whether I agree with the person's points or not. Naotora is getting more hate than she probably deserves with the level of disappointment people are feeling but you have to admit the thread really escalated when one specific person jumped in.
