We definitely do. How is killing someone in the most horrific manner possible worse than some scantily clad women? not even close. your western ideals are showing.
1. It's been proven that video game violence does not facilitate real-world violence. 2. Cartoon violence has been around since forever. 3. Nothing wrong with scantily clad women, definitely something wrong with scantily clad GIRLS
there is of course fictionalized pedophilia such as drawing, 3D models, written fiction, Marie Rose, etc... but the laws are very iffy when it comes to that and nobody is willing to stand up and basically have their life destroyed attempting to defend the right to fap to underage images.
I'm pretty sure real violence is illegal. DOA is fantasy. Marie Rose & Honoka aren't real. Like Russian said, it's "fictionalized pedophilia". This indirectly makes Western culture either fucked up or hypocritical.
No different than thinking that video games can cause a random dude out of, like, a million, to cause a massacre. It's a hypocritical system fueled by a Conservative agenda.
Same brainwashing due to society's overall "ideals". Point is society thinks sexuality-based stuff is taboo and brutal violence is "fine" despite both being fictional when used in an entertainment medium.
Sexualizing a child is always unacceptable. Cartoon violence (as obscene as it is) is not. It's not about sex being taboo it's about the sexualization of a childlike figure. So it's got nothing to do with Western ideals. Wrong is wrong
It isn't about saying oh he puts a g-string on Honoka he's gonna rape a child. In any case real or fictional the sexualization of children is never okay. Ever.
I still don't understand how realistic looking brutal violence is any "better" i.e. not considered worse than someone like Marie Rose, that looks more like a cartoon character than an actually living, breathing person. The violence in today's video games looks pretty damn realistic and can definitely give a sick, perverted individual ideas.
