Well, I want to go to this store with my friend to get this game, but she said two other people I don't know will be in the car :-( I have to go though, this is my only chance to make this purchase before school rolls back in

But my introversion is nerve racking, and just thinking about it is making me reluctant

sounds like the issue is less with your friends and more with your anxiety around the unfamiliar

it's funny cuz im actually dating a girl with severe SAD (social anxiety disorder) right now, and she does the same thing where she says she want to go out and do stuff, but 9/10 will psyche herself out on the last minute because she hates being around people she doesn't know

considering your able to make and maintain friendships already tells me that you anxiety is not as bad your making it out, and if they really are your friends, im pretty sure they wouldn't be so cruel as to use your anxiety against you, so go get your game homeslice!

I went Brute, it actually was not as bad as I thought it was :-D One guy shook my hand and the other chatted with me...but the game and the card to buy it digitally were not in stock :-/ Well, I'll just buy some funds on the online psn then

@Lulu I was actually very outgoing when i was younger, now not so much. XD. And of course Brute, when there's something I really want, I rarely let anything get in the way of me getting it. /:-D

you've got good friends then, most people would just consider you flaky and drop you like a bad habit. it's the same reason why my new girl cant maintain friends or relationships with non-family members for shit. but i deal with it cause I had crippling social anxiety for YEARS, so I understand what it's like, and only in past say, year and half i've been better with dealing new people and places

Lol, yeah I don't try to be flaky, they know my reasons as to why I am what I am today, and they understand which is a relief. I can be open, but it takes me a while to fully do so.

I am also in the socially awkward club, I can't even approach/talk to people unless they talk to me first. Atleast you have friends though, I have no friends at all anymore.
