ah ok. Can you only punish negative moves with throws or with strings as well? Like my opponent is -15 and I throw out a string that is 12f, it will hit them?
-The one with the stars- The one with the higher number will be easier to do via 12f throw because there is a lot more recovery and time to buffer in the throw. The higher the number, the easier they can't do anything about it and more window time. The lower/faster their recovery, the quicker you have to buffer in the throw to catch them.
I find anything faster than 20 hard to throw or common to not throw it because of how quick they recover yet they are still unsafe. You'd have to be spot on quick to throw that type (Rig, Alpha-152, Nyotengu's P+K, Jacky, Mila, Phase 4 etc.)
