Yeah, he's good imo. His linearity kinda is a flaw but he's definitely not bad.

There is a huge difficulty curve into learning Akira, and people tend to say he is no good, because they cant fully utilize his moves.

yeah, i guess this execution factor is what throws most people off akira, but him having high execution is less about him being bad and more a statement on that players skill. if only there was a character who did what akira did but was easier to play (looks over at kokoro)

Akira's always been good. He's top tier in VF5FS too. His execution is justified because of the potency of his tools. It's the same idea with someone like Alpha Patroklos in SCV. Near OP tools offset by ridiculously tough execution.

Looking back, Akira was easier to learn/use than Hwoarang. Maybe its because DOA and Tekken are two totally different ball games.
