People make it sound like it's a bad thing lolol. Are people expecting an easy win? I even beat kwiggs and java twice in a ft10 in my hotel room and they aren't complaining about it.

lol, i assume that doesn't happen with you? that sux, this is actually the first time i've played on stream in a tourney so it's kinda weird, but kinda nice as well. good to know good things can come from getting your ass whooped on stream

Ah I read this differently. It's what happens when you read it in text compared to in person. There was another concept in play (had this before) where people expecting me to lose on some sort of basis because I play Akira or match up relations. Such as "How you lost to Dbomb or Akira? you are playing Phase 4 or Helena!"

It's as if it's destiny for me to achieve loss! etc etc. lol - One thing for certain though is that people are bound to win or lose at some point. If I lose, I lose and can't change that. Though if I win, people felt as if something happened to the other player that caused me to win.

Not everyone of course, but there has been cases like that. (not just me, but many others.) Rikuto for example is a good player and people were questioning bladez like how he lost to Bayman and such. Hell, even I thought Bladez was going to win it but surprises can happen.

Not to sound like some sort of condescending cocky prick, but people do underestimate another quite greatly. I lost to Manny and I take my loss like a man, you did well Camel and will not discredit you on how you did.

It's amazing that you can have a positive impact on a player like this. 80% of the times a question like this would be followed up with the same person that asked you either talking trash, or just not saying anything else afterwards.
