Cause a friend of mine's doing a ft5 series or show on youtube and he wants me to commentate, which I have no problem with. The issue is that I'm the only commentator and for a fighting game where so much is in play, it's hard for me to talk about what's happening in the moment and give details about moves in specific.

I feel that if someone can color commentate, it would help wonders as I can focus on what's happening in the moment and whoever color commentates can add details about certain situations.

Compared to either sports or like gaming from my experience where all I'm worried about is trying to stand out or not trying to be a perfectionist.

Ah, gotcha. I have mixed feelings on commentators for FGs in general, but I can certainly sympathize with some anxiety about it.

On the other hand, I actually found talking about tech to be the easier part. The hardest part is the "down time" where you're supposed to flap your lips just to remind everyone that you exist for some reason. That's when you really want a co-commentator; ideally an extrovert.
