The reason why some are pissed is because they lied about the "not needing another disc" part years ago. Plus, that content should have already been in vanilla from the get-go. Then again, it's Capcom l0l
I mean you don't if you already have it XD the new disc is just an easier alternative to buying the vanilla game and having to install all these GBs of patches including the arcade update
I'm more upset, that will be more expensive for me (owner of vanilla), to get all the content than it is to someone to buy the arcade edition, i get that is how it works, but, if just sell my disc now and buy the arcade edition and will be cheaper.
I only got SFV for 10 dollars so I don't mind buying the disc again which is likely what I'll do XD I still have to think since I purchased almost all the season one and 2 characters already with fight money
It's not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but Project Bokuho is right, it's the principle of the situation, and Capcom just loves to unintentionally piss off fans.
Yeah but even still I don't see how XD the update is free and is only being made on disc for people who want the game now so they won't have to download 20+ large GB patches to catch up, including the arcade update which will be large. I mean yeah it should've been in from the beginning but they are doing it now, would you rather them not add it? XD
LoL... you know whats Funny. Thats exactly whst I wished TN did with Last Round on the previous gen consoles since I couldn't buy the LR Update digitally.
Last Round was never intended to be a PS3/360 title. It was cool that TN allowed it to be a free update on last gen. TN stopped supporting the 'last gen' consoles because DOA5 was over 3 years old by that point. The point of Last Round was to transition DOA5 to next gen consoles. I'd say TN succeeded on that front.
They were also reaching the limits of what they could do with the old hardware as well. And more, if you had the 360 version, and jumped to the xbox one, or you had the ps3 version and jumped to the ps4 version, all your dlc would carry over, which is also very cool.
The only legit reason to be even the slightest bit burned is that there's no new returning characters featured as an incentive to buy... notably Sakura, if only to bring back a long-denied reunion with her rival Karin.
Seriously, why would you put in Karin without Sakura in the first place? That's like ham with no burger.
