Free Step Dodge

By today's standards in the community I'm considered a "random". And yet you put up with me despite being a Christie player. Why is that?

"Clowns talk about my charater but have no idea what they are talking about" followed up by: "Easy characters in Doa: Helena, Christie and Lei" Irony much??

To Be Fair... they are easy.... in terms of execution.

@Bacaww I meant easy characters in Tekken. Although Christie is relatively easy to pick up, when you dive into her, she's intermediate to master. Sometimes advanced. Helena & lei are more intermediate to pick up, but lei's advanced to master.

@Bacaww Difference between easy characters in DOA and easy characters in tekken is although I'd bet my money on an easy character if it's two beginners, once people dive into the game more, I wouldn't bet my money on an easy character as much cause the great thing is you can hold and read them better.

@Bacaww With Tekken however, unless it's Qudans, regardless, I'm likely betting my money on the easy character because tekken prefers those characters regardless. You have to have Qudans, Speedkicks, & Mr. Naps level of execution to win with characters like Hwo, Bryan, & even DJ...

But with Claudio, all you need is hopkick and superman punch. Dragunov running 2. And it's frustrating since regardless of whether it's online or offline, thats what's preferred a good portion of the time. It's why we can name all the Jacks in the TWT but we can barely name some solid Kazuya's.

I distinguish Christie, Helena, & Leifang because although for me Alpha, Pai & Mai are more annoying, they likely won't be in the next game so I can attempt to tolerate them more. The other 3 are definitely being in the next game.

And it's a huge pain fighting them. For Christie, She a 9 framer with some great crushes. I can't get momentum with Rig cause even with my +1, she just negates all that stuff. People say space her, but I can only do it for so long. Yesterday I fought a christie and they chose a close map so....

I have no choice but to fight her close. Online favors her since even when she wakes up, ppppp takes away my offense and now I'm on the defensive end. And I know there are great Christies, but the bulk I face abuse online. Plus her strings re-track (But that's for another issue) which means I almost never get anything going.

Helena's a free cancel queen (Christie as well but I'm not talking about Christie). Helena's one character where if you don't lab and see for yourself that her free cancels are - af (You have to lab every opponent), you letting her get away with murder. The problem is is even when I see ....

That for myself, I still can't punish it cause well online favors it. It's annoying and pointless for me to look to finding ways to get by that shii if I don't get rewarded for it. Leifang all I have to say is "Shoulders". Possibly the best crush in the game. They gave this shii to Honoka but I'm not worried much about Honoka now so back to Lei...

She's relatively safe on a good portion of her strings which tells me, either neutral throw punish or try to get a counter hit but the problem is her "Shoulder" negates both options since no matter the negativity, throw "Shoulders" and the punish gets thrown in the garbage, considering again it's online and online is the bane of my existence.
