Yeah so after watching that stream for a bit, Doug Nguyen's matches looked very smooth and playable, but everyone elses looked like hot trash.

There is always input lag unless the game is on rollback netcode(which doa5 is not). It may not be noticeable depending on your connection, (maybe 1-3 frames) but it is always there.

Well I want to hope everyone else is the outlier and that your situation is common but the pessimist in me won't let me.

God damnit. Well maybe there will be a patch day one but I doubt it or they would announce it ahead of time. I will get the game anyway (mostly cause it is already paid in full) but if the online truly sucks I'm out.
