Negative on block is not a bad thing in and of itself, just being unsafe on block. Most moves should be negative on block in a 3d fighter or it ruins the give and take of it.

Every other FG I can think of that has had street date broken/pirates got to it, they have not had their online gated by the street release date, it either works or it doesn't.

360 is cheaper, xbl is the superior online service, and way less people on wireless (thus no idiots ruining an online with with packet loss). 360 seems like the easy choice.

TN has not been consistently releasing fighters like capcom and namco has in the last few years and it took them quite a few games to get it right. Until I have the game in my hands or reliable impressions, I take nothing on faith.

Aoi counter windows are so small compared to doa and are worthless in VF. The only time you would even throw out a counter is when you 100% **know** the move is coming. Her counter game despite having a million counters, is an infinitesimally small part of her game.

The DoA4 stick is a Hori EX2 and while nowadays with newer Hori sticks and the MadCatz TE out it is not ideal, it honestly isn't bad and is alright as babbys first arcade stick. I myself used mine for years when the 360 was new and there was no other options short of custom building one.

Well I am not in TO, but in Brockville but this is the closest thing to a true Ontario thread. Brockville is home to all of 2 competitive FG players(me being one) and a bunch of scrubs. We try to make it out to tourneys when we can.
