You still haven't addressed why gamestop sells DOA5 used for the same price as they sell it new ($20). Battlefield 3 on Xbox 360 cost $20 new and $18 used and yes it does require an online pass. I don't know if you are aware of it or not based on the dialogue we've been having but online passes...

Silly me, but that doesn't address the discrepancy between DOA5 going for $20 new or used at GameStop and them claiming that they factor in the price of online games when they sell them used.

I don't know where you're getting these ideas from from but I do know that the price of game at a particular point in time is determined by what the market is asking for it. Anyway take a look here. As you can see, GameStop charges $40 for a new copy of NBA 2K13 and $38 for a used copy...

It's going for $20 new at Amazon. It's also going for $20 new at GameStop (and $20 used) hence my point that GameStop doesn't factor in the cost of online passes regardless of what the PR department says or tells their employees to say.

The online pass implementation crippled the online community. There was no need for an online pass given that the game uses a peer to peer connection between players. EA just realized that they have been shooting themselves in the foot with online passes by effectively missing out on DLC...
